Dick and Gloria Logan

Dick and Gloria Logan

Dick and Gloria Logan were married over 60 years and their five children established The Logan Family Foundation in 2004 to carry out the lessons that they gave the kids to constantly pay forward. They met at Ohio State where Dick played football, following a Hall of Fame career at Mansfield Senior HS. Gloria graduated from Upper Arlington and went on to an active college experience at Ohio State.

Dick played professionally for the Green Bay Packers and following his playing career made a commitment to coaching youth football in the North Canton area where he had a very positive impact on hundreds of young men who have gone on to great careers and families of their own. Dick was inducted to the Mansfield Senior High School Athletics Hall of Fame.

Gloria was the head of the Senior Citizen program for the YMCA and was inducted into the North Canton Hall of Distinction for her service to the community. They have 11 grandchildren and still work in the family sporting goods business that Dick founded in 1975. Prior to that Dick was the Assistant General Manager of the AAA in Canton.  Dick passed away in November 2016 the day following a win over that school up North!  The Logan Family Foundation made a substantial contribution to the North Canton YMCA in his honor following an outpouring of donations in his memory.
