Jud Logan
Jud is recognized for his success as an athlete on the international level. A world class star in the hammer throw, he has been on four U.S. Olympic Teams - 1984, 1988, 1992 and 2000. Jud was a captain on the 1992 team. He has competed in the Pan-American Games, the Goodwill Games and the World Championships. He once held the American record in the hammer throw with a toss of 268 feet, 8 inches.
Jud has been the head track and field coach at Ashland University since 2004, coaching multiple National Champions, All-Americans and Olympians. Year in and year out, the AU track and field program is among the best in the nation. Throughout his coaching career, Jud has been named NCAA Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year, Midwest Region Men’s Coach of the Year and GLIAC Men’s Coach of the Year.
Jud and his wife, Jill, live in Ashland. They are the parents of three adult children and three (soon to be four!) grandchildren.
Whitney Logan
Whitney was a two-sport standout at North Canton Hoover in Football and Track. He was a favorite receiver of All-American quarterback Todd Blackledge in high school. Ran the 800 meters for Hoover and was a leader on the track team. Graduated from Ohio State with a degree in business and today operates a highly successful financial planning firm in Columbus, Logan Financial Group, LLC.
Whitney’s wife is the daughter of former OSU football All-American and Hall of Famer, Dean Dugger. They have three children and live in Upper Arlington. Whitney is a volunteer coach for youth sports

Dick and Gloria Logan
Dick and Gloria Logan were married over 60 years and their five children established The Logan Family Foundation in 2004 to carry out the lessons that they gave the kids to constantly pay forward. They met at Ohio State where Dick played football, following a Hall of Fame career at Mansfield Senior HS. Gloria graduated from Upper Arlington and went on to an active college experience at Ohio State.
Dick played professionally for the Green Bay Packers and following his playing career made a commitment to coaching youth football in the North Canton area where he had a very positive impact on hundreds of young men who have gone on to great careers and families of their own. Dick was inducted to the Mansfield Senior High School Athletics Hall of Fame.
Gloria was the head of the Senior Citizen program for the YMCA and was inducted into the North Canton Hall of Distinction for her service to the community. They have 11 grandchildren and still work in the family sporting goods business that Dick founded in 1975. Prior to that Dick was the Assistant General Manager of the AAA in Canton. Dick passed away in November 2016 the day following a win over that school up North! The Logan Family Foundation made a substantial contribution to the North Canton YMCA in his honor following an outpouring of donations in his memory.

Andy Logan
Youngest of the Logan children, Andy starred at North Canton Hoover in Football and Basketball. Andy was a captain of both teams his senior year that went to the State Championships, losing in football in the final game of Division 1 and losing in the first-round of the final four at the Ohio HS State Basketball championships. North Canton Hoover was the first Division 1 school to make the state finals in football and the state final 4 in basketball.
Went on to Kent State University and played as a defensive back for the Golden Flashes. Tied for the lead in the entire country as a senior in interceptions, with Deon Sanders of Florida State.
Was a free-agent signee with the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL. Returned to North Canton to begin his career in the family sporting goods business and today is the owner of the business that was started in 1975.
Has coached defensive backs for Hoover Football for 18 seasons. His wife Dede was an exceptional swimmer in high school (Hoover) and college (Bowling Green). Andy and Dede have 3 children.

Jeff Logan
Jeffrey D. Logan graduated from The Ohio State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations. Chosen as an outstanding graduate of Ohio State, Jeff also participated in varsity football for the Buckeyes lettering all four years.Ohio State teams during those four years won four Big Ten Championships and played in four bowl games, including two Rose Bowls. Jeff was a two year starter, co-captain, twice All Big Ten first team running back and an Academic All-American. Jeff and Dick were one of only two father/son combinations to both play under Woody Hayes. Following a short career in professional football with the Baltimore Colts, Jeff returned to Columbus and founded Jeffrey D. Logan and Company.
Jeff's wife, Dena, is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a former varsity cheerleader for the Buckeyes. Dena is involved in a variety of charitable organizations, including the Childhood League Center, and serves as House Corporation president for Delta Gamma sorority at OSU. The Logan's have two adult children and reside in Dublin, Ohio.


Amy Logan Walther
Amy is the first of five children in the Logan Family and had to put up with four highly competitive younger brothers. Amy graduated from Hoover HS and has remained in the North Canton area for much of her life.
She runs operations for Logan Sports and recently added the title of CFO to her duties. She is actively involved in many of the charitable causes that benefit from the Logan Family Foundation.
Her organizational skills exceed the athletic skills of the brothers combined!
